How does it work?

Omnilux Revive uses LED (light emitting diodes) to dispense a precise waveband of red light used to rejuvenate the skin cells, increase collagen production, and stimulate circulation. Unlike lasers and IPL machines (which damage the skin and force it to repair), Omnilux nurtures the cells and encourages the body’s natural processes.

How long does one session take?

A typical appointment will last 30 minutes to allow for skin prep. You will be under the light for 20 minutes at a time.

How many treatments do I need?

Omnilux light can be administered as a single ‘pick-me-up’ facial, orin a course for more substantial, longer lasting results. We generallyrecommend a course of eight treatments.

Is it safe?

Completely. The light source has been used in hospital dermatology and oncology departments for more than ten years for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer without any hazards or complications associated with light treatment. It is neither laser nor IPL and contains no harmful UVA or UVB rays.

Is there any downtime, like with laser?

No. Omnilux is not a laser. Because it doesn’t damage the skin in any way, there is no down time. You may actually notice positive results immediately.

Is there anyone the Omnilux is not suitable for?

Omnilux is not suitable for people with epilepsy or porphyria, or any photo sensitive skin condition. Pregnant women are required to consult with their GP before having treatments.
